This is a fun, though-provoking route with hard moves right off the ground. Pull off the ground and fire a left hand up to an obvious undercling - bulge. Enjoy thin balance climbing climbing to a strange and very physical crux move past the fourth bolt.

Ascend a sharp finger crack to join 2 bolts on interesting holds.  A #3 Camalot and finger-sized cams protect the crux moves to the anchor.

This undocumented sport route starts on the far right side of the main buttress. There are multiple cruxes as you approach the final roof. You can pull the roof directly and head up to some anchors to the right. Another option, if lichenous roofs aren't your thing, is to traverse left and head to the anchors on

Stanley's Steamer

. A small cam is suggested for this option.

Start right of Sunday's Child (the obvious bolted face in the middle of the crag). Begin with a crux (we pre-placed a nut with a stick); continue up, then go slightly right on a ledge, then go up again to the anchors on top, shared with

This is an obvious crack line just left of

Pug's Den

(first bolted route on the Lion's Den). Climb past a couple of small ledges to gain the crack. Crank a few steep moves up and over to stellar moderate ground in the corner above. It is a great warm-up route with excellent moderate climbing.

This is power crack climbing and liebacking followed by a nice face. It is one of the best routes at the Palace.

, then angle right into a lieback feature (a #4 Camalot is handy), continue angling up and right following the weakness to a ledge. Move right, and follow bolts up the face to bolted anchors.

This line doesn't look like much from below, but it has some excellent climbing. Start just right of the first bolted line on the left side of the buttress.  Follow a lieback flake and jog back and forth until reaching a grungy V-slot.  Place some good gear and traverse right under the overhang with lots of air below you.  A key red Alien can be placed on the way to the anchors of

Sunday's Child

This is an adventurous sport route with two distinct cruxes - one above the fourth bolt and another traversing left along a hand-rail above the sixth bolt. Once you pull around the overhang and gain the arete, head straight up on more good stone to gain the chains.

This is an excellent little adventure up the right-leaning crack / flake system on the little face to the right of

Bodies Like Sheep

. Move right into the Lumpyesque lieback crack near the top (crux).

After a little Autumn harvest, this crack is now pretty obvious. Bust straight up the right and then left-facing feature to the 4 inch crack. Continue with some very nice jamming to the top of the buttress.

This has a crux down low, but it is sustained to the anchors. It has great rock and climbing.

P1) 5.12c/d. Follow bolts up and left passing a low crux. Turn the roof, and continue to a bolted anchor.
